Most operators build the brand first and then hire guides to deliver it. We did it the other way round. Kernara started with the guides, their knowledge, their passion, their Cornwall... and everything else followed.

After moving to Cornwall and being shown the real Duchy by the people who live here, one thing became clear — this place is too good not to share. Kernara was born from that feeling, and from the belief that Cornwall's local guides deserve a platform that matches the quality of what they do.

My background is in finance, where I spent years building a business from scratch. Splitting my time between London and Cornwall has given me a real appreciation for what makes this place special. I handle the commercial side, the strategy, and Kernara's long-term direction.

I'm responsible for everything technical at Kernara — the website, the booking system, the payments, and making sure the whole experience feels as seamless on screen as it does on the ground. Combining twenty-five years of building software with a genuine love for my home county means I care about this one more than most.

Operations
I started life as a Geography teacher, so managing people and organising things is what makes me tick. I'm responsible for making sure every tour runs like clockwork — coordinating with our accommodation and dining partners, confirming reservations, handling the details that guests never see but always feel.

Transport Team
Often the unsung heroes, drivers are as much a part of your Kernara experience as the walks and the hotels. Friendly, attentive and always on hand, they'll be with you throughout the week — driving luxury transport between stops, helping with luggage, and making sure you're exactly where you need to be.
Concierge Team
Our concierge team is available around the clock throughout your stay — on the ground in Cornwall and always a phone call away. Whether it's a last-minute restaurant reservation, a taxi to the harbour, theatre tickets, or help arranging something special for an occasion, they're there to make sure nothing goes unanswered.
