A Kernara tour is a luxury guided tour around Cornwall, which is curated and led by our local experts. Choose from walking tours along the coast path or chauffeured driving tours that cover the county from coast to coast, each one shaped by a guide who knows Cornwall inside out, with handpicked hotels, every meal, and every detail taken care of.

Kernara currently offers six guided walking tours in Cornwall, each led by a different local expert. Routes cover the North Cornwall coast, the South Coast and Fowey Estuary, the Far West headland, Bodmin Moor, the UNESCO World Heritage tin coast, and a grand tour of the whole region. Every tour runs Sunday to Saturday, six nights, five days of walking, and generally covers four to six miles of walking per day.

Yes. Our tours are designed for people who enjoy walking but aren't experienced trekkers. Distances are four to six miles per day on well-maintained paths, with a guide who sets the pace to suit the group. You should be comfortable on your feet for a few hours and able to handle an occasional steep coastal section.

Six nights' luxury accommodation across three handpicked hotels, all breakfasts and lunches, three dinners, all guided walks, and comfortable transport between locations. Entrance fees to attractions visited during the tour are also included.

Not at all. Our groups are small — never more than ten — and many of our guests travel solo. The intimate group size and the time spent walking together means you'll feel comfortable from day one.

All our tours are six nights and five walking days. We don't currently offer shorter trips, but we can arrange for hotel stays before or after your Kernara tour, in Cornwall, London, or wherever you are.
